PHP Developer / Technical Analyst - Vancouver, Washington

Gravitate Design Studio is seeking a PHP Developer / Technical Analyst to join its Vancouver, Washington staff. The PHP Developer / Technical Analyst is responsible for technical scoping and analysis and programming support for customers' websites. Key activities include requirements gathering and quoting, developing specifications, and assisting the technical team in completing projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide pre-sales support, work closely with the development staff to articulate the requirements and clearly define and communicate scope
• Perform technical analysis and write technical specifications
• Help manage technical projects including interfacing with clients for collection of deliverables and sign-offs

Requirements include:

1. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to accurately elicit, clarify and document project requirements
2. PHP, MYSQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
3. Strong background on CMS-based web applications such as Wordpress is an asset
4. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
5. Excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task on several concurrent projects
6. Strong customer service skills
7. At least 2 years of programming experience with examples
