Gravitate Launches New Website for American Rivers Cruise Line
Historically-rich online experience awaits potential cruisers
SEATTLE, WA - October 1, 2004 – Today, Gravitate Design Studio, revealed a brand new website for American Rivers Cruise Line, a cruise tour operator specializing in scenic and historical adventure cruises.
"This website is a tapestry of animation, historical tidbits, and information," said Ruth Maugeri, Gravitate's Creative Director. "Every detail was carefully constructed - from the interactive map of the entire river cruise, to the in-depth descriptions and photos of every stateroom. Our goal was to impress the visitor at every turn."
Seattle-based American Rivers Cruise Line commissioned Gravitate to create its web presence in order to promote its newly acquired river vessel - the Columbian Queen. Reminiscent of old riverboats from the 19th century - this historical gem is at the heart of the American Rivers website.
"This website is a living, breathing project" said Cyndi Nguyen, Director of Web Services at Gravitate. "Our team has already begun working on the next phase of this project, which will include even more interactivity for users, and content management for the American Rivers team."
