Meet Amy, Our New Account Manager!

Welcome Amy!

The Gravitate team is growing. Meet our newest Account Manager, Amy Koller! Amy comes to Gravitate with diverse knowledge in marketing and communications with a focus on digital. With experience spanning from the United States to Japan, Amy brings a unique perspective to every project she touches. She also happens to be one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet – seriously! Get to know a little more about Amy.

The team asked, Amy answered.

We heard you’re a Disney fanatic and world traveler. What is your favorite Disney park and why?
Disneyland for nostalgia. It’s the park I grew up going to and has my favorite ride, Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. However, Tokyo Disney Sea comes in close second! The food, shows and atmosphere are hard to beat over there.

You spent a few years in Japan. What do you miss most about living in Japan?
Everything. I miss the shrines nestled into the city, the culture and food. I even miss the crowded Tokyo trains! I’m excited for the borders to open up so I can visit once again.

If you could be any character in any television show, who would it be, in what show, and why?
Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I would love to control all the elements while helping establish peace in the world. A flying bison would be a plus!

Who influenced you as a child, other than your parents?
I always had a love for superheroes and video game characters. I was inspired by the way they helped others and never hesitated to save the day. As an adult, I hold onto those values. I always am willing to jump in whenever someone needs me.

Name something super-overrated. Why?
Frozen. If you have been to Disneyland as many times as I have, then you would agree. I now go slightly insane every time I hear “Let It Go”. I think the world needs to let it go.

Name something super-underrated. Why?
Pineapple on pizza. Haters gonna hate.

What was your first job?
Besides babysitting, I worked at Sonic Drive-In. I eventually had to quit because I didn’t have the coordination to serve food on rollerblades. RIP all those milkshakes.

What is your favorite part about your role at Gravitate?
Working with all the creative minds in the company. I also love learning new things about each client and how we can help them grow their digital presence!

What makes a successful client?
Someone who knows what makes their company different from the competition. Once they know that, we can work together to create a great strategy for their business!

You’re just a few weeks into your new role – what are you most excited about?
Being a part of such a great team and community! I’m also excited to meet and work with all my clients.
