    It’s 2023! The year’s marketing plans are locked in and we’re all getting to work, so we thought it would be a good time to remind EVERYONE using Google Analytics they will need to manually migrate to Google’s new platform, GA4. In short, your existing Google Analytics (GA3) account is getting shut down July 1, 2024 and you’ll be required to start using the new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) platform after that.

    It won’t happen automatically and requires you to manually migrate to their new platform.

    This is time sensitive because your historical data will be deleted entirely so it’s important to get the new property set up to start collecting historical data asap. Additionally, if you’re using Data Studio that will break too. You’ll need to reconnect your GA4 data and restructure your dashboards using the new data model and dimensions that GA4 provides.
